How lucky am I that I have a boyfriend and a family that loves me enough to let us get away for a 30th birthday celebration. Matt took me to a cabin in the Hocking Hills...which was serene, beautiful, and the perfect way to end my twenties. Our cabin was called Anniversary and was the perfect size for two. Please note that in the pictures of me are not that good....I forgot to bring a comb and conditioner....but Matt told me I was beautiful anyway!!!!
The Hocking Hills area is so beautiful...we went to two different scenic sights for some quiet time in nature. It is really really hard to choose which pictures that I wanted to include but I will try to pic just a few....first we went to Ash Cave, then we went to Conkel's Hollow. We are promising ourselves that we will go back in the Fall to walk the rim trail at Conkel's Hollow.
We ate soooo much amazing grilled food, watched movies, read, made up stupid songs, and spent a lot of time together. I will cap it off by saying it was one of the best birthdays ever......even though it was not one that I was looking forward to! Just a few more pics for fun...sorry:)
