A Family Picnic with the Columbus Crew
My Mom is a season ticket holder for the Columbus Crew, and they have a mingle event every year where you can meet the Crew players. This year it was at Magic Mountian, it was fun to play video games, just be together as a family.
This is Blaise with Moreno..a crew player
A Girls Trip to Mason Ohio
A good friend from high school was celebrating her Baby Tyson's first birthday and with Blaise having to play in a baseball tournament, I decided to have a girls trip to Mason Ohio for a little party fun. I had to work the night before and the night of and didn't feel comfortable doing the actual driving, and I didn't want to miss it! So Sarah, Aidan, Kailey and I piled into the Durango and hit the road.....it was a perfect little boy airplane theme!
Eating cupcakes
Watching Tyson with his own little cupcake and opening presents Thank you Tiffany for all the fun...it was nice to "fly" away for the day!
The kids had a great time playing in the backyard

Pre-Tournament Cook-out
Tuesday starts the post season for the Red Sox....and they had some fun team scrimmages and a cook-out! It was great fun for all the boys.
July Fourth Family Traditions
I am all about family traditions....I also LOVE Independence Day! I MAKE(but they love it right now) everyone wear the same shirts(or close to it) and be as patriotic as a person can be! This year I tye-dyed white T-shirts...and added crystals to the girls. I also dyed the kids hair blue and red...and made Aidan hair ribbons...as well as a few other little accessories.Aidan and I also get matching sandals every year(luckily my feet are small enough to fit into kids sizes in sandals...in shoes they are too fat:)And we finished off the day with Red, White and Crew....and a little tail-gating to start!
Westerville Fourth of July Parade
Aidan passed out candy for Generations PAC in the Westerville parade....I ended up walking with them and being a human corral for the kids the little kids, it was a lot of work but worth it. Blaise and Matt were at the WYBSL All-star game and homerun derby.

It's America
Drivin' down the street today
I saw a sign for lemonade
I saw a sign for lemonade
They were the cutest kids
It's a ride in a Chevrolet
It's a man on the moon
And fireflies in June And kids sellin' lemonade
Later on when I got homeI flipped the TV on
Just to help their neighbors out
I'd ever seen in this front yard
As they handed me my glass
Smiled and thinkin' to myself
Man what a picture perfect postcard this would make of America
It's a high school prom
It's a Springsteen songIt's a ride in a Chevrolet
It's a man on the moon
And fireflies in June And kids sellin' lemonade
It's cities and farms
It's open arms One nation under God It's AmericaLater on when I got homeI flipped the TV on
I saw a little town that some big
Twister tore apart
And people came from miles aroundJust to help their neighbors out
I was thinkin' to myself
I'm so glad that I live in America
It's a high school prom
It's a Springsteen song
It's a ride in a Chevrolet
It's a man on the moon
And fireflies in June
And kids sellin' lemonade
It's cities and farms
It's open arms
One nation under God
It's America
Now we don't always get it all right
There's no place else I rather build my life
Cause it's a kid with a chanceIt's a rock and roll band
It's a farmer cuttin' hay
It's a big flag flyin' in the summer wind Over a fallen hero's grave.
It's a high school prom It's a Springsteen song
It's a welcome home parade
It's a man on the moonAnd fireflies in June
And kids sellin lemonade
It's cities and farms
It's open arms
One nation under God
It's America
This song is sung by Rodney Adkins and expresses just how lucky we are to live in America....please note that I did not take these pics they are from various places found on the Internet! So as we all watch fireworks and eat all-american food let's be mindful of what it really means to be an American!
