The end of a great season

We completed our Red Sox season, with a loss in the final leg of the tournament. We ended up fourth place overall, which is quite an accomplishment, and alot of tournament games. After all was said and done we had a team picnic, complete with a father-son baseball game(which matt seriously injured himself in!!!)

Most of the boys are moving up to blue hat for fall, and Blaise will stay in Red hat both in the fall and spring. We are really really going to miss the players, parents, and most of all Coach Kyle, Kyle, and Dan! We were given a whole CD of pics from Alan Geho(who owns Ralphoto) and had a son on the team! Here are a few of my favs....

The Promise

Matt and I made eachother a promise....a promise to love eachother through everything, our bad moods and hardships, our good days and triumphs, and most of all everyday. This ring was given to Matt by his Mom, he gave it to me. I love it and the promise that it stands for....I look at it everyday(on my right hand not on my left...hehe) and think of Matt, and the life that we are working so hard to build.

The Ohio State Fair 2009

I grew up right here in Columbus Ohio, so the Ohio State Fair was a huge part of my childhood. It has been a few years since we have gone as a family, it can be really expensive and there were a few years when I thought that the just wasn't what it used to be. Well it was wonderful this year...clean, great rides, great food. We had fantastic fair food this year; Italian sausage, fried green tomatoes and veggies, Blaise had a huge turkey leg, funnel cake, and Matt's favorite frozen chocolate covered cheesecake(gross.) The kids favorite part was riding lots and lots of rides, Aidan rode everything that she was tall enough for, which is a huge departure from the past.

As you can see after those last two rides....Blaise needed a little break, we thought that we were gonna lose him! He wasn't the only one though there were people puking all over the place...haha!

So we took a break to eat and to look through all the made-for-tv stuff the marketplaces around the fair!

My favorite time at the fair is at dusk...just when it is cooler, the lights are glowing, things just seem magical! When the kids were on the merry-go-round that I told Matt that these are the moments that they will remember forever!

We finished up the fair with a ride all-together on the giant ferris wheel!

My Mom is a season ticket holder for the Columbus Crew, and they have a mingle event every year where you can meet the Crew players. This year it was at Magic Mountian, it was fun to play video games, just be together as a family.

A Girls Trip to Mason Ohio

A good friend from high school was celebrating her Baby Tyson's first birthday and with Blaise having to play in a baseball tournament, I decided to have a girls trip to Mason Ohio for a little party fun. I had to work the night before and the night of and didn't feel comfortable doing the actual driving, and I didn't want to miss it! So Sarah, Aidan, Kailey and I piled into the Durango and hit the road.....it was a perfect little boy airplane theme!
